Bio: After graduating from Southeast Community College with a manufacturing engineering degree, Nik Ditzler started his career at a major aircraft manufacturer in Wichita, Kansas. He came to Bison in 1999 in the engineering department and moved over to the sales department after four years. When Bison purchased IPI, his job added responsibilities of overseeing dealer networks and the day-to-day business of those divisions. Nik likes to treat customers the way he would want to be treated and likes the variety and uniqueness of each customer interaction. He is married to Lisa and lives in Palmyra, Nebraska.

Bio: Dave Smith joined IPI in 1986 after he graduated from Ball State University, where he studied engineering and architecture. He worked in the curtain and wall padding division of IPI while doing custom quotes. When Bison Inc. acquired IPI in 2012 and relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska, Smith followed. He now is a Project Manager and helps engineer custom backstops and curtains, process orders, and provide custom quotes and customer service for IPI products. He says he can even weld to meet demand if necessary!

Business Development Agent
Bio: Dan Shaw joined IPI by Bison in February 2017 and brought with him many years of experience in gym equipment design, production, marketing, and dealer development and training. Prior to entering the industry, Shaw attended West Point Military Academy. He has previously worked for Jaypro Sports and Spalding, while also working with the NBA and NCAA. Shaw’s role, as a Business Development Agent, with IPI by Bison is focused on multiple operational facets with a heavy emphasis on dealer development and recruitment.
R&D/Mechanical Design Engineer
Bio: Iman Salafian joined IPI by Bison in August 2017 in a position that gave him an opportunity to develop a new efficient method to develop and design products. Prior to IPI, he earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran and his Master's degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Iman played professional volleyball in high school and today enjoys playing volleyball, camping, and spending time outdoors.

Bio: Jason Addleman graduated from Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska with an Associates degree in Diesel Technology in 2000. He has been working at Bison in his current role of IPI Foreman since 2013 and worked with a sister company prior. He has since married his wife Mary and they have two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing and coaching baseball and softball.
